An observed holiday is a period of time during which schedules
refer to their Holiday override
columns instead of to the day of week. If the Holiday column is blank, no access is allowed during that period.
For example, the holiday “Winter Break” might apply to “Front
Door” between Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002 12:00 AM and Thursday, Dec. 27, 12:00
AM. All Schedules in effect at “Front Door” during “Winter Break” will refer to
their respective Holiday override
columns. If this column is blank, the door unlock schedule will be suspended
for the duration of the holiday.
